At our
church everyone is encouraged to use their gifts for ministry both in our worship
services and the wider community. As a result people of all ages use their
gifts in a wide variety of ways.
Our church
people use their gifts in upfront ways like music, bible reading, choir or
service leading. Behind the scenes people serve in roles like computer,
sound, morning teas or creche.
We also
connect with the community at large through the Wesley Opportunity Shop,
our monthly Bazaars, the Playtogether Groups, Mum 2 Mum Group (a young
mothers support group), Wesley Creative Craft Group and our Friday night
Youth Group.
No matter
what the role, everyone makes a valuable contribution to the life of our
church and help give us the identity that we have.
